Nature has a lot of goodness it can offer when it comes to skin heath. If you suffer from dry-skin especially, there are many things you can whip up at home, which will nourish and brighten up your skin. Here are some of our favourites.


Moisturising Oils


You can use lavender oil, avocado or castor oil or also make a mix of the three. All of them are great for skin nourishing, as long as one's skin isn't acne-prone. Aloe Vera is also a great natural moisturiser. A plan with healing properties itself, it can be combined or solely used for hydration.


Eczema Treatment


Coconut Oil is a great staple to have in your beauty cabinet. It is also recommended for skin that is not acne-prone and is proven to help atopic dermatitis, which is a type of eczema that appears often on allergic skin. It shows through dryness and itching.

DIY Recipes for glowing skin

1. Rich and Creamy Avocado Mask


A great natural way to sooth dry skin, this mask will leave your skin feeling hydrated and happy. Puree has an avocado, mixing it with 1tsp olive oil. If your skin is very dry, you can also add some honey. Leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes and thank us later.


2. Olive Oil Cleanser for Dry Skin

A natural cleanser and moisturiser, olive oil is an easy, great choice for dry skin. Rub some oil onto your skin and cover it with a warm cloth, until it cools. Finish off by wiping away the excess. As simple as that!


3. Oatmeal Honey Mask

Oatmeal is a great choice for exfoliating your skin with a natural ingredient. Mix 2 tsp of oatmeal, together with 1tsp of honey and a dash of water. Warm up the mixture and use it either as an exfoliator, washing it off immediately or leave it onto your skin for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off. Your skin will be soothed and hydrated at the same time.

A lot of us struggle with hair conditions such as hair loss, dryness, hair damage. Experts suggest a use of hair mask or special hair treatment at least once per week in order to address such issues and return the life back into your hair. Here are some of our favourite natural remedies. 


Gingko Biloba


A herb that's an absolute gold when it comes to hair care. It stimulus blood flow and circulation, which can add to increased hair growth. It's best to be used in the form of tea, as its effects are best reaped through the digestion system. 


Rosemary


Used in the form of oil that can also be combined with olive oil and applied topically, it's a great aid fighting hair loss and an ingredient that can also aid premature graying.


Peppermint


Another natural oil that stimulates the scalp, soothing its irritation and encouraging its follicles. 92% of the sample of people that were using peppermint oil in a hair growth experiment documented that they saw an effect.


Lavender


Not only that it smells great, but it also works as a natural scalp cleaner, removing any parasites and fungus that can get in the way of the health of your scalp. You can mix it with other natural oil and massage it gently into your roots. If you use it for 2-3 months, effects will be guaranteed. 


Nails&Herbs

When it comes to strong, long nails, vitamins are a girl's best friend. Biotin- Vitamin B7 is a staple for nails and hair, promoting health and strength. Besides taking Biotin, you can also topically apply natural oils at the roots of your nails, in order to stimulate growth and form. The best ingredients you can use include: sage, nettle, horsetail weed, garlic, evening primrose, dandelion, gotu kola and alfalfa.
