If you have sensitive skin, go for something lighter like a moisturizer or anti-inflammatory cream. 

Aloe&Elderflower Bodyscrub


Aloe vera is an extremely soothing and cooling plant extract, rich in nourishing vitamins, amino acids, enzymes and proteins. This body scrub combines fresh, thick, mucilaginous aloe vera juice with elderflowers, which have anti-inflammatory qualities and ground rice, which creates an exfoliating paste that refreshes and smoothens the skin. 


Ingredients(making enough for a single application):

  • 20g dried elderflowers
  • 2 tbsp aloe vera juice
  • 25g ground rice
  • 3 drops benzoin tincture
  • 4 tsp organic plain yogurt
  • 4 drops lavender essential oil

Instructions

1. Cover the elderflowers with the aloe vera juice and leave for 15 minutes

2. Add the ground rice and mix thoroughly

3. Add the benzoin, yogurt and lavender essential oil

4. Apply to skin using firm, circular hand movements



make your own soothing skin oil

The hot summer days can be a little abrasive for our skin, leaving it dry and inflamed. Body oils are a great solutions for soothing your skin after a long day spent in the sun. Just apply it after a shower and have it soak in. 

Lavender and Bergamot Soothing Skin Oil


A relaxing aromatherapy mix of floral geranium, soothing lavender, calming cypress and fresh and uplifting bergamot. All perfect for restoring skin's smoothness and moisture.


Ingredients(making 100ml):


  • 4 tsp almond oil
  • 4 tsp sunflower oil
  • 4 tsp coconut oil
  • 4 tsp grape-seed oil
  • 2 tsp avocado oil
  • 2 tsp wheat germ oil
  • 10 drops geranium essential oil
  • 10 drops bergamot essential oil
  • 10 drops lavender essential oil
  • 10 drops cypress essential oil

Instructions

1. Blend all ingredients together

2. Store in a sterilised dark glass bottle with tight-fitting lid away from sunlight. The skin oil will keep for up to 6 months. 

3. Apply and enjoy!



make your own nourishing conditioner

Softening marshmallow and nourishing comfrey are combined here with a double calendula boost- both soothing herbs infusion and nutrient-rich oil- to first aid to brittle fragile hair. Frankincense and Roman chamomile essential oils also lend their soothing, toning properties to this herbal conditioner. Everything needed to revive the summer dryness in your hair.

Nourishing conditioner for dry damaged hair


Ingredients(making 100ml):


  • 3 tbsp conditioner
  • 3 tbsp infusion of equal parts comfrey,marshmallow and calendula 
  • 1 tsp calendula oil
  • 8 drops frankincense essential oil
  • 2 drops chamomile Roman essential oil

Instructions

1. Blend all ingredients together well 

2. Use within 1 week or keep refrigerated and use within 2 weeks. 

3. Enjoy the effects!
