Garden Set Up

Your herbs are calling your name.
"It's time to take care of me......"
So I decided to give you some fast tips or reminders to help you.

What to do in your garden in April?

Check for signs of new growth:
April is the time when many herbs start to come back to life after the winter. Check your plants for new growth, and remove any dead or damaged leaves or stems.

Prepare your soil:
Herbs need nutrients to grow strong and healthy. Consider adding an organic fertilizer or compost to your herb garden to provide the necessary nutrients.

Watch for pests:
Pests like aphids, spider mites, and whiteflies can damage your herb garden. Keep an eye out for any signs of pests and take action if you see them.

Water your herbs:
Water your herbs regularly, especially if it's been dry or windy. Make sure the soil is moist but not waterlogged.

Harvest your herbs:
Many herbs are at their peak in April. Harvest your herbs regularly, especially in the morning when the oils are most concentrated.

Mulch your herb garden:
Mulch around your herbs to help retain moisture, suppress weeds, and regulate soil temperature.

Prune your herbs:
Prune your herbs to encourage healthy growth and prevent them from getting too bushy. You can also prune herbs to use in your cooking or to dry for later use.

Give your love to this planet by keeping it allive.
