Natural Egg Painting + Hack

Easter is coming and I can't hide my excitement about it.
You may know how much I like to experiment with everything. Going out of the box is my main goal mainly when I can be more WITH the nature not against it.

No more talking here are the basic steps for natural egg painting:

  1. Boil eggs: Start by boiling eggs until they are hard-boiled.

  2. Prepare natural dyes.

    The strongest colors are:
    Turmelic
    Onion
    Parsley
Spirulina (depends what color you'll get)
    Red onion
    Red wine
    Blueberries (European)
    Hibiscus tea
    Coffee

  3. The most colors you get with boiling the eggs with the ingredients and let them cool together. You can mix the colors as well. The longer you soak the eggs, the more vibrant the color will be.

  4. Preserve: If you want to preserve your natural egg art, you can rub a small amount of vegetable oil onto the eggs to give them a shine and help preserve the colors.

Painting eggs is bringing me back to the childhood when we spended this time with my family. It was great time for us all.
Enjoy your time making art.

THE HACK

If you want lighter eggs just put them in a vinegar for 10-20min. then wash them well.
